PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning)

Rosemeadow Public School has undertaken the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) as a new approach to behaviour management in our school. The commitment to integrating this program into our school culture is a 3 year plan.

Our new school rules are;

- Be Safe, - Be Respectfu, - Be a Learner

The key features of the approach;

- A common purpose and approach to discipline; - A clear set of positive expectations and behaviours

- Procedures for teaching expected behaviour, - Continuum of procedures for encouraging expected behaviour

- Continuum of procedures for discouraging inappropriate behaviour, - Procedures for on-going monitoring and evaluation
