Canteen

The school canteen is a ‘Healthy Choice’ canteen, which reflects the Department policies.

Our canteen is a service run by the P & C.

OUR AIMS

We aim to provide nutritional canteen lunches.   We will also strive to reinforce home and classroom teaching of the importance of healthy eating.

WHEN ARE WE OPEN

Our canteen opens for lunch five days per week.

To achieve our aims, we rely on the valuable assistance of parents and friends of the school.  

Mums, Dads, Carers, relatives and friends are invited to help in one of the following ways:

•  Attend canteen once a week, fortnight or month from 9am until 11am to prepare and serve lunches.

•  Help for part of the time eg. For an hour or so after dropping your children at school or after helping in the classroom.

•  Assist the committee with food ideas, menu planning or promoting the canteen.

•  Be on standby in case of illness, or for special events (eg. Sports day).
